Meal Plans

Beginning in August 2017, Park University's Sodexo Dining Services will replace the current meal plans with four new meal plan options (three for residential students; one for commuting students) at even better prices!

New Student Meal Plan Options

  1. All-access block (unlimited meal count) with $50 flex / Cost: $1,750 per semester
  2. 200-meal block with $100 flex / Cost: $1,500 per semester
  3. 125-meal block with $275 flex / Cost:  $1,500 per semester
  4. Pirate Plan (available to commuting students only) 17-meal block with $20 flex / Cost: $100

All three residential meal plans come with 10 guest passes per semester.

What's Different?

Park's meal plans will no longer be limited by a weekly meal count. Instead, the plans will be managed by the block, giving students the power to decide when and how to use their meal plan throughout the semester without weekly limit. With the 200- and 125-meal block plans, a student's meal balance will simply decrease with use. The all-access block, which has no total meal count, will show no declining balance.

Park will also offer expanded dining hours in an updated facility. Beginning this fall, the newly-renovated Pirate Café will remain open from breakfast to dinner time without any breaks in service!

How Do I Select My Meal Plan?

Unless a specific meal plan was chosen during the room selection process, the 200-meal block plan will be the default for residential students. To select a different plan, students should contact the Office of Residence Life or the Office of Student Life when returning in the fall. Commuters interested in the Pirate Plan can contact the Office of Student Life. Additionally, if you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact Karie Schaefer at
